Fairfield combines a prime commercial real estate location, room for growing businesses, and a large and talented work force. Affordable housing, good schools and close proximity to many of the San Francisco Bay Area's world-famous destinations make Fairfield attractive for employers and workers.

Cordelia is an area within Fairfield, California. Conveniently located in the middle of 680 and 80, quick freeway access from the neighborhood to Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek, or to Vallejo and Benicia, as well as the Napa area.  Cordelia neighborhood has great schools and is close to shopping and activities.  Currently Cordelia is growing.  There are road and freeway upgrades as well as several new neighborhoods being built.  You may notice large construction projects going on, if you are looking for a home in this area make sure you understand the noise level may be high on some days due to construction, but this noise is temporary and in all likelihood will raise the value of the older homes in the area over time. 

Each May the neighborhood holds a huge garage sale and block party.  People sell their items, buy from neighbors, visit with each other and welcome the visitors from all over.  People seem to really enjoy this event and look forward to it each year.
